This is a part - time position. 


Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Pay range $22.86 to $28.15, part-time 21-28 hour workweek,

Part-time certified nurse practitioner

The Fulton County Health Department is hiring a nurse practitioner. 


This is a part-time position.


Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Provide clinical services for Sexual Health & Wellness and Prenatal patients. Provide education.

• Complete physical examinations and common screening tests

• Follow approved protocols to address abnormal screening results


Applicants with bi-lingual (Spanish) skills in the clinical setting are welcomed. Applicant must be a Certified Nurse Practitioner in Ohio. 


Salary range begins at $42.23/hr., commensurate with experience. Part-time (1-2 days/week), paid holidays, sick and vacation time.

Fulton Co Board of health vacancy

The Fulton County District Advisory Council (DAC) is seeking an individual to fill the remainder of a 5- year term on the Fulton County Board of Health, beginning October 2024 through March 2029.


The candidate must be a Fulton County resident who is interested in promoting health and safety and improving public health in our county. Per By-laws, “Appointments (of Board of Health members) shall be made with due regard to attaining a geographical balance of health board members from throughout the district.” The vacancy is for a representative of the townships and villages. The following jurisdictions are currently represented: German, Pike, Swan Creek and York townships and the City of Wauseon. Ideal candidates are residents living in Amboy, Chesterfield, Clinton, Dover, Franklin, Fulton, Gorham, or Royalton Townships or associated villages (Fayette, Lyons, or Metamora).


The Board of Health meets each month, typically the second Tuesday of the month. Meetings are held at 8:00 am and typically end by 9:15 am. Meetings are held at the Fulton County Health Department at 606 S Shoop Ave, Wauseon OH 43567. This is a public meeting and attendance must be in-person. Board of Health members are compensated $80 per meeting before taxes.


Individuals who currently hold an elected public office may not be eligible.
