BCCP Mission

Our mission is to increase breast and cervical cancer screening rates by raising awareness, educating women, addressing their barriers, and motivating them to complete screening exams as part of their routine health care.

northwest region breast and cervical cancer project

The Northwest Region BCCP is housed at the Fulton County Health Department, and serves women in 21 counties of Northwest Ohio. Our mission is to assist women in completing their recommended screenings for breast and cervical cancer. We offer high-quality screenings and diagnostics at no cost to eligible women.

BCCP has also implemented a Patient Navigation Program, which provides individualized support and assistance to all women aimed at identifying and addressing individual barriers that may impede their access to breast and cervical screenings, diagnosis, and or treatment services. There are no eligibility guidelines for our navigation services!
